Il try and give it a shot......When desperate, hungry,in need of mental help religion swwops in and takes you with promises of better tommorow and after life ( back in the middle ages).. It evolved and got stuck into the culture of the family and now is inbedded in their brains without any aknowaldment of Other "gods"

You can prove scientifcly how religion affects people all you can do is monitor brain activity for now.

Wait what you want to get proven with science...?

Because I wrote "man" instead of "men"? Common mistake among people that aren't native speakers.

Also, where did you see rage there? Maybe you are the one obsessed with rage, not me.

Prove with science that religion ordered it. Find a 14th century copy of Bible in Latin and find a fragment where it says "KILL INFIDELS FOR YOUR GOD!".

But you can't deny that they are the most well-known.
We care more becaouse our immediate countries took the most losses.

Polish Losses During WW1 period untill 1939 1,128,000

Ukranian/Soviet losses Losses During WW1 persiod 3,311,000

USA losses during WW1 117,465

Polish Losses During WW2 6,000,000

Ukranian/Soviet losses During WW2 23,100,000

USA losses During WW2 418,500

Thats why its Well KNOWN to us...affected us much much more from storied my great grandfather told me.. it was hell on earth...dead every were.. my great grendfather lost 50 tanks....that way.. and his own crew as well he is the only 1 who survived =(

in ANy case both wars were not because of religion... But as i sadi before.. previous wars were masked under it.. Church needed more land and influence =)

Not trying to ffend any 1 just expressing my opinins which are based on facts...bah i just ahd to throw in WW2 numbers for refferance that even religion cannot save lives.. wait religion CAUSED it...up to a point lets leave out mental instablities out....but then again he was a genious in strategy.

Darwin's Theory of Evolution - A Theory In Crisis

Darwin's Theory of Evolution is a theory in crisis in light of the tremendous advances we've made in molecular biology, biochemistry and genetics over the past fifty years. We now know that there are in fact tens of thousands of irreducibly complex systems on the cellular level. Specified complexity pervades the microscopic biological world. Molecular biologist Michael Denton wrote, "Although the tiniest bacterial cells are incredibly small, weighing less than 10-12 grams, each is in effect a veritable micro-miniaturized factory containing thousands of exquisitely designed pieces of intricate molecular machinery, made up altogether of one hundred thousand million atoms, far more complicated than any machinery built by man and absolutely without parallel in the non-living world." [5]

And we don't need a microscope to observe irreducible complexity. The eye, the ear and the heart are all examples of irreducible complexity, though they were not recognized as such in Darwin's day. Nevertheless, Darwin confessed, "To suppose that the eye with all its inimitable contrivances for adjusting the focus to different distances, for admitting different amounts of light, and for the correction of spherical and chromatic aberration, could have been formed by natural selection, seems, I freely confess, absurd in the highest degree."

Please remember that it is still a "Theory" which is an unproved hypothesis. No one has been able to demonstrate any type of evolution. They have only found similarities.

The main problem with science is that it is subject to "popularism" and "fads". Any scientist dissenting from the majority beliefs finds himself unemployed and ridiculed.

so he is saying that we humans are Geneticly engeniered creatures that are best suited for survival.. because if the eye is so complex and he doesnt believe it was evolution... Same with dogs. cats and another 90% os species on earth....We were all engeniered for survival....So the Alien theory is viable...but then again... maybe engeniering one creature with an eye is anugh for cause a chain reaction which creates more of same and then mutation caused...us?

Its to complex.....We all started out as an ameba..eyeless,creature measured in micr-grams....Once we crack the DNA code we will know much more..

Write slower, better and more precisely.

So they weren't because of religion, but religion caused them...

Okay, whatever.

Funny how Theocrat doesn't nitpick YOUR grammar, but noticed and commented my mistake (A instead of E).

Jewish People. Some say it was main reason for war...But really it was Cuase Mista Hitla wanted some more Earth for his perfect humans.. and other werent good .. you can slightly relate it to relgious differences.. hope i cleared it up abit.

Learn to cope with it.. i suggets you fight back.. i just ignore it i have viable reasons for it and most of the time i do it on purpose..

You know if the person nit-picks your post for grammar he has no interest in the discussion just to RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GOing mess with you.

I ignore grammar mitakes because you never know WHY the person is misspleling.

But yeah regardless the post was to show the numbers of dead.. and that religion was a slight sligh reason for the deaths....

No, it wasn't. Hitler didn't care about religion. He wanted to kill everyone that wasn't pure-blooded Aryan, that is a German with pure German family roots.

He wanted to kill the Polish, the French, the Russians, the Jews, the Chinese... everyone he could. But hey, wasn't sane, so what you gonna do.

Why was he obsessed with Jews? Maybe not because of their religion, but because they were of different "race".

Well that is what i meant... yous you are correct.. i must be reffering to an age old article i read that was most likely ill-gooten.

Faith Doesnt speak. Faith is not an entity, faith is false,, faith is somethign you create by yourself and fall into illlusion it exists.

Scientific aproash as simple as it is.

If it is not seen, if it does not cause sound0waves to be heard it DOES not EXIST.

Self-induced creations and illusions are what fanatics are.. and and Just so you know Hitler had an illusion of Germans being Superior "race".....

2 illusions- 1 possible outcome. Preaching is bad.. especialy forced preaching -_-

I wanted to quote and try to answer to your crap, but I'm too tired for your trolling.

You don't want to use arguments, I don't have to argue with you. Now go burn a cross and leave this thread alone, because this thread ISN'T ABOUT RELIGIONS.

Again... that's why it's called BELIEF. Also, you might say that the E=MC^2 is a lie, because we can't see it. But it's a wide-acknowledged theory. Same with evolution - unless we witness a genetic and/or visible change in an animal to help it survive in the enviornment, you can't say that the theory is true.

...Except for those funky moths that were white, but smog from local industrial buildings changed trees' color to a darker one, so the moths with black/darker wings survived...

The Theory of Evolution and Evolution itself are not the same thing.

Much like the Theory of Gravity and Gravity - the former attempts to explain, the latter is a fact.

Mind giving the rest of the text?

Quote:
Yet reason tells me, that if numerous gradations from a perfect and complex eye to one very imperfect and simple, each grade being useful to its possessor, can be shown to exist; if further, the eye does vary ever so slightly, and the variations be inherited, which is certainly the case; and if any variation or modification in the organ be ever useful to an animal under changing conditions of life, then the difficulty of believing that a perfect and complex eye could be formed by natural selection, though insuperable by our imagination, can hardly be considered real.
I also feel like smashing their heads alternately with a dictionary and a science text book every time one of their ilk brings up the theory == unproved hypothesis bullshit.
